My plans for 2019

Hi everyone! Last year I made a bucket list of things I wanted to do, which you can read here. It’s safe to say there was lots left that I never got round to doing! So I thought today I would share a new one for the remainder of this year.

Travel plans:

Some of these I already have booked, such a trip to Liverpool in the Summer which I am SO excited for! It’s my favourite city in the world and I can’t wait to be back. I also have a trip to Italy booked in which we’re going to visit Pompeii, which has been on my bucket list for years.

We are also planning a trip – although it’s not booked yet – to New York at the end of the year. Again, this has always been on my bucket list, and I’m so excited that this year I might finally be able to go!

Things I didn’t get done last year:

In the summer I’d love to go strawberry picking! We used to do it every year when I was younger, but we haven’t been for years and it would be really nice to take Aaron. I’d also like to go to a pumpkin patch – last year it was only open when I was at work! So hopefully this year I’ll get to go.

Last year I never got to do the helicopter ride I was hoping to do, so I’m determined to fit it in this year! I really want to do the Jurassic coast one with bubbly – I think that’ll make a great girly trip!

I think this is the year I get a new job. It’s not that I hate my job now, but I’ve been there now for 6 years and it’ll soon be time for a change of scenery. I’d really love to put my degree to good use (wildlife conservation, for those of you who don’t know). My ideal place would be a wildlife sanctuary or the Cat’s Protection.

What’s on your bucket list for this year?

Until next time.

  1. I think it’s amazing that you’re setting yourself fun life goals for the year so that you can enjoy yourself some more. These sound so much fun and I can’t wait to see what happens when you achieve them! Good luck with finding a new job, I hope it all goes well for you and that you put your degree to use and love it.

  2. We go strawberry picking every summer as a family – there’s a strawberry farm about 15 minutes from our house! I’m so jealous that you’re planning on going to New York – I hope you have an amazing time!

    1. Great travel plans. Hope you get to go to New York. It is an amazing city! What a great and interesting degree. How fun would it be to work with wildlife everyday for a living?!
Hope you get the job you want

  3. Great goals! It’s good to stop and reflect sometimes on the things we’ve been wanting to do but haven’t gotten around to doing. I just graduated and will also be getting a job this year, so after that who knows! Good luck on your job search and thanks for the post!
