Homeware haul – part 1

Hi everyone!

As I’ve mentioned previously, Aaron and I recently moved out into our own place, and we’ve been busy buying a lot of stuff!

Who doesn’t love a homeware haul, right?

As there’s just the 2 of us, we decided to go for a little 2 seater sofa (Argos), which is really cosy and the perfect size for us. I thought it looked a bit bare so I picked up these checked cushions from Wilkinsons. I love their homeware, and I thought the colours in these cushions tied in really well with the rug and sofa. We went with a pinkish taupe rug (B&M) to fill out a bit of the carpet, and I already had this pink foot stool from The Range which I think goes really nicely.

We are really lucky in our house to have this really cute fireplace, which is my favourite area of the front room. Here’s what we got to put there:

The fairy lights are just copper wire ones from Primark. The wax melter is from Sainsburys, which my mum very kindly gifted us. The map canvas is from The Range, and we are so in love with it. It features North America as the central continent, which is different to a lot of maps. The flowers and vase are from The Range. At first we saw the vase which we thought matched nicely with the fireplace, and then chose some neutral fake flowers to put into it.

Now onto what I think of as cozy corner. We got this cute nest of tables from B&M, which I thought was a bit different from your normal square nests. The lamp on top is from Sainsburys, which I was immediately drawn to because of the pattern (as Aaron calls it, blogger print). We both decided we wanted a little globe ornament, and we found this black one from The Range that we were both drawn to. The coasters on our tables are from a little shop in Ibiza.

Stay tuned for part 2 coming up very soon!

Until next time.

  1. Those little nest tables are lovely. And the lamp is spot on too. I love little fairy lights I have a few scattered about. Can’t wait to see more!
